Image Use Policy Overview
Redline Event Photography holds the copyrights to all images we produce. At Redline we really want you
to use our photos! Unfortunately, a few people have abused our copyrights and we now find it necessary to post an overview
of our image use policy. If you would like to use one of our images, please e-mail us at: redline_race_pics@msn.com
Business/Advertising: For any type of business, farm, trainer, owner or instructor. This includes, but is
not limited to, advertising of horses, farms and equipment, including racecars or parts, and “For Sale” flyers
posted in public. There is a charge to use our images for any of these purposes. Use of images without written permission
and/or prior to Redline Event Photography receiving payment is considered unauthorized use and will be subject to tripling
of the usual use fee and/or prosecution for copyright infringement. Please, do not do this!
Important Note: Our standard ad image turnaround is one week. If you need a photo for an ad in 48 hours or less,
there will be a $25 RUSH fee. If Fed Ex is required, additional charges will apply
Leagues, Associations and Venues: For Leagues, Associations and Venues with whom we have a
working relationship, a pre-agreed upon number of web ready images may be provided to you free of charge for use on your website,
for advertising your events and promoting your organization or facility. Use of images for print media or other types of advertising
will be negotiated on an individual basis.
League/Association Yearbooks: There is no charge for using Redline photos for this purpose. However, because
all of our images are copyright protected you must have written permission from Redline Event Photography to use any images.
Failure to secure written permission to use a photo is a violation of U.S. Copyright Law and will be prosecuted as such. Photo
Credit must appear adjacent to the image or a use fee will be charged. Please note: There will be additional charges
for submittal of image files to publishers OR Use Agreements requested less than 72 hours before deadline. Please
contact us for additional information or to secure image use permission.
Personal/Non Business Websites: If you have purchased one of our photos, you may use it on your personal
website. There is no charge for this type of use. However, you must have written permission to scan the purchased photo and
to use it in this manner. Failure to secure written permission prior to its use is unauthorized use and is subject to an Unauthorized
Use Fee and/or prosecution for copyright infringement. We also require Photo Credit and a link be given for any photos
used in this manner.

Redline Event Photography holds the copyright to all images we produce. You must have written permission to
use any of our images. There will be no exceptions to the above policies.
All Redline Event Photography photographic prints have an image number and copyright notice/warning label on
the back. “I didn’t know” is not an excuse.
Should you need an electronic file for any of the above situations, we will need to know the dimensions and
resolution required.
